Our talented French Chef has reimagined the Classic Kiwi cake and treat favourites for 2022. In homage to Kiwi baking tradition, we have stayed true to style, but used the most premium ingredients and methods to ensure that your cherished memories will not be tarnished by less than divine flavours!

When we started to develop our range of baking and cakes, we did so with a firm ethos. We would use no chemicals or preservatives in our cakes, using only use the absolute best ingredients – and we would not mass-produce cakes.

We have a thriving cake decoration business at the City Cake Company, and many of our custom cake orders involve bespoke decoration. There is no doubt in my mind that cakes are fashion. We have seen many styles of cake decoration come and go, but the simple and beautiful remain the overwhelming favourites. 

Butter cream has become a requested icing on our bespoke cakes for delivery in Auckland. We make hundreds of butter cream cupcakes a week, and now do a range of boutique cakes for birthdays, celebrations and gifts, layered with delicious butter cream.

Opened in 1998 with the aim to make beautiful cakes of the highest quality, the City Cake Company soon began to offer cake delivery and bespoke cake design and decoration.
City Cake Company is 24 this year, and as anyone who has celebrated this will tell you, 24 is quite a milestone. Find out how we began!
